In landscaping applications, VIM acts as a waterproofing and water-retention membrane beneath soil, planting zones, and hardscape layers. The base surface is leveled and prepared before installation. VIM sheets are installed with sealed overlaps to ensure watertight continuity, preventing leakage while supporting controlled water retention. This application protects underlying structures and improves long-term landscape performance in roofs, podiums, and ground-level landscaping areas.
